it is frustrating realizing that all of the ridiculous sound bites you’ve been repeating your whole adult life are true: “Kids from lower income families just don’t have the same opportunities academically as kids from wealthy families”

Crossing my fingers that homeschool preschool (run by one determined mama) for my oldest is enough for him to compete (or even run in the same race as) with kids who’s parents can afford $500-600 a month for full time preschool.
